We are delighted to announce the appointment of Alyas Ali as Head of School for Vantage by Unity.
Building on nearly two decades of pioneering education, Vantage represents Unity Grammar’s next chapter in providing the kind of education and learning environment we believe young people need in today’s world.
From the very beginning, we recognised that bringing the Vantage vision to life would require an exceptional educational leader. Selecting the right Head of School has therefore been one of the most important decisions in shaping the future of Vantage.
Recognising the significance of this appointment, we embarked on an extensive global search to find the right person to lead the school. We are proud to welcome Alyas Ali to lead this exciting new chapter.
With more than 25 years of experience in education across the United Kingdom and UAE, Alyas has built a distinguished career in educational leadership, school improvement and curriculum innovation. Throughout his career, he has been recognised for creating school cultures where academic excellence is matched by strong character development, purposeful learning and a commitment to nurturing every learner’s potential.
His experience, educational philosophy and unwavering commitment to developing young people closely align with the vision behind Vantage.
Opening in Parramatta in 2027, Vantage is reimagining what an Islamic secondary education can be. Students will build strong academic foundations while engaging in authentic, project-based learning, collaborating with industry leaders and developing the knowledge, character and skills required to thrive across the industries and institutions shaping tomorrow’s world, all while remaining firmly grounded in Islamic values.
Alyas’ appointment marks a significant milestone as we continue building a school that will inspire a new generation of confident, capable and values-driven young people, equipped not only to succeed in the future, but to help shape it.
